Roof repairs for the chapel in Barangay Labney, one of Muñoz's 37 barangays and among its smallest — about 230 households at the last census. Our first building project of this run; every year before it was goods or a grant.
What happened
Barangay Labney is one of the smallest of the 37 barangays in the Science City of Muñoz: about 1,064 residents in roughly 230 households at the 2020 census. Its chapel is where that congregation gathers, and its roof had reached the point where the weather came through.
MUSA paid for the repairs. It is the first building this run of projects has put money into — the years before it went out as food, as gifts and as one cash grant — and it arrived with a name already chosen for it: The Worship that Faith Built.
